Batu Kitang assemblyman Dato Ir Lo Khere Chiang has invited residents of Jalan Arang and nearby areas to attend a community dialogue on Saturday, July 4, aimed at strengthening communication between the public and government agencies while addressing local issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dialogue will be held at 9am at the Taman Mewah Basketball Court and will involve representatives from the Padawan Municipal Council, Sarawak Water Sdn Bhd, the Royal Malaysia Police, and the Housing Development Corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lo said the initiative provides residents with a convenient platform to engage directly with the relevant agencies by raising concerns, seeking clarification, offering suggestions, and receiving updates on matters involving municipal services, water supply, public safety, housing, infrastructure, and other community issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Many of the issues faced by residents today involve multiple agencies. Instead of approaching each agency separately, this dialogue brings everyone together under one roof, enabling concerns to be addressed more efficiently while fostering better coordination among the agencies,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lo said effective community development begins with open communication and active public participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that the dialogue reflects his commitment to ensuring residents have direct access to government agencies and that their feedback continues to play an important role in improving the delivery of public services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Lo, the session is not only intended to resolve issues but also to strengthen understanding between residents and government agencies while encouraging greater cooperation in creating a safer, cleaner and more liveable community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He encouraged residents to bring forward questions or suggestions concerning municipal services, water supply, road and drainage maintenance, public amenities, housing matters, community safety, or any other local issues affecting their neighbourhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lo also invited community leaders, residents associations, youth, women, and members of the public from the Jalan Arang area to participate in the dialogue.
“The best solutions begin with listening to the people. This dialogue is about bringing the government closer to the community and working together to resolve issues that matter most,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
