Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) new building to start soon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) has officially received the completed Earthwork Project (Phase 1) for its new MPP Building, marking an important milestone in the council\u2019s future development plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The earthwork project, covering approximately 12.6 acres, has achieved full completion of its primary scope. The works included the filling of 34 agricultural ponds, installation of temporary hoarding, turfing, fencing works and overall site preparation for the next phase of construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a site inspection, MPP Chairman Tan Kai, accompanied by MPP Council Engineer Ir. Mohd Hazwan Othman, representatives from Merakai Indah Sdn Bhd and MPP officers, expressed satisfaction with the quality of the completed works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said particular attention had been given to the filling and compaction process involving seven layers of soil, with Fill Density Tests conducted on each layer to ensure the land is stable and suitable for future development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tan also conveyed his appreciation to all parties involved in ensuring the successful completion of the project within the planned scope and timeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the future MPP Building is envisioned to provide a more convenient and welcoming environment for the public in conducting their daily affairs with the council. The overall development is also expected to include recreational and community friendly facilities for public use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the completion of the earthwork phase, the council will proceed with the next stage involving the construction of the new building in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
