The signs advise residents and visitors to avoid fishing and catching prawns or crabs due to safety risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yap said his service centre acted swiftly after receiving concerns from residents, particularly over children who continue to frequent the river despite the reported sightings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPublic safety must always come first. I strongly urge all residents, especially parents, to advise their children to stay away from the river.
