SUPP Kuching Branch Youth leader, Nicholas Wung commended the recent visit by the Kuching Branch team to the KMC Flats, where close collaboration with the Padungan Police Station was carried out to better understand residents\u2019 security concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, the team met directly with affected families, listening to their worries, particularly after recent break-in incidents that have caused unease in the neighbourhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCommunity safety must never be taken lightly. Every family deserves to feel secure in their own home. This is why SUPP Kuching Branch continues to prioritise grassroots concerns and work hand in hand with the police to strengthen safety measures,\u201d Wung said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He pointed out that SUPP has previously partnered with the Padungan Police Station with encouraging results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative at the KMC Flats reflects the same spirit of close cooperation with law enforcement to safeguard residents\u2019 wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe will keep supporting more frequent patrols and preventive measures together with the police. This is not only a promise to the people but also a reflection of SUPP\u2019s long-standing principle of placing the community\u2019s welfare at the centre of its work,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wung also called on residents to play their part by cooperating with the police and community leaders. \u201cSecurity is a shared responsibility. We welcome residents to reach out to SUPP Kuching Branch with any safety or community concerns so that we can build a safer and more harmonious neighbourhood together.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
