In response to a request from the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) of SK Mejar Jeneral Dato Ibrahim, Kem Semenggo, Wilfred Yap, State Assemblyman for Kota Sentosa, has contributed and officially handed over 250 chairs and one hot and cold water dispenser to the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The contribution aims to improve the comfort and learning environment for students, as well as to support the school in providing better facilities for both academic and co-curricular activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yap said the initiative reflects his ongoing commitment to supporting educational institutions in his constituency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEducation plays a critical role in human capital development. It is the foundation for shaping future leaders and equipping our young generation with the skills needed to contribute to Sarawak\u2019s progress. I will continue to assist schools in Kota Sentosa to ensure our children receive the best possible environment for learning,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that providing proper facilities is essential for creating a conducive learning atmosphere, which in turn supports Sarawak\u2019s objective of becoming a progressive and prosperous state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
