YB Wilfred Yap Prioritises Community Wellbeing Through Active Oversight of RTP Park Upgrading Projects at Jalan Stampin Tengah<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In line with his unwavering commitment to community development and public service, State Assemblyman Kota Sentosa, Wilfred Yap carried out on-site inspections at two recreational parks located at Lorong 5E and Lorong 12, Jalan Stampin Tengah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yap said these visits form part of his ongoing, hands-on supervision of Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) projects \u2014 Menaiktaraf Kemudahan Di Taman Rekreasi Lorong Stampin Tengah 12 (RM45,000) and Menaiktaraf Taman Rekreasi Lorong Stampin Tengah 5E (RM50,000). He was accompanied by officers from Majlis Bandaraya Kuching Selatan (MBKS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that the purpose of the inspections was to personally evaluate the progress and workmanship of the upgrading works aimed at creating safer, cleaner, and more inclusive green spaces for the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the site visits, Yap identified several areas that require improvement in terms of finishing and overall quality. These were immediately flagged to the contractors, with clear instructions for rectification before any payment is approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He reiterated that public infrastructure projects must meet the highest standards, as they directly impact the daily lives of the rakyat.
