The Sarawak-Level Chinese New Year Celebration 2025 will be held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on January 29.
Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Professor Dr. Sim Kui Hian said Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi will grace the celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg and his wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma\u2019ani Tun Tuanku Bujang are also expected to be present to enliven the atmosphere,\u201d he said in a press conference at Wisma Bapa Malaysia on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Sim added, the celebration this year will be held earlier to give space to those who will be busy with Chinese New Year preparations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe celebration will start as early as 8.45 a.m until 2 p.m. So, for those who want to attend, make sure to arrive before 2 p.m,,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Sim also expects 5,000 visitors to enliven the celebration this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The celebration is expected to be lively with various interesting events planned as well as being a platform to strengthen the spirit of unity among the multiracial community in Sarawak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
