Supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Sarawak, the event highlighted the cultural richness and culinary traditions of Sarawak, drawing significant public interest and participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officiated by State Assemblyman, Dato Lo Khere Chiang, the event saw over 50 enthusiastic participants grouped into 11 teams, each competing to showcase their skills in preparing traditional Sarawakian dishes such as pansuh chicken and lemang. The judging panel, consisting of members from the Borneo Highlands Residents Club and Kelab Belia Proaktif, evaluated the dishes based on authenticity, taste, and presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lo praised the event, stating, “Events like this are essential in preserving our cultural heritage and passing it on to the younger generation. I am impressed by the dedication and skill displayed by the participants, and I applaud Kelab Belia Proaktif for their efforts in organizing such a meaningful celebration.
