As there are more celebrations and ceremonies carried out this month, he said the temples do incur more expenses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Chinese attached great importance to temple worship activities, which require funds. Therefore, this allocation is to assist them to promote and unite the people through temple activities.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Sim explained that Government grants cannot be issued anyhow as  there are certain procedures to follow thus at times, there are delays at times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added it will be better to apply before the activities and funds are automatically allocated twice a year.
