GPS\/SUPP candidate for Batu Lintang, Sih Hua Tong vows to make eight key plans should he win the coming State election as he launched his manifesto this afternoon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sih, who launched his manifesto at SUPP Batu Kitang branch this afternoon said he wanted to make good his manifesto as he will not go back against his words like some other parties or jump to another party like some candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listing his manifesto, he wanted to deal with flood mitigation projects, urban living cultural kampung, SMK Sg. Maong school hall, Tabuan Jaya integrated community hall, Tabuan Heights community hall, satellite clinic, upgrading of the parks and security of neighbourhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShould I represent the voters of Batu Lintang in DUN, I will ensure all these are done. I would not jump and be a political frog which is irresponsible and betrayer to the party I represent. I vow to serve Batu Lintang with full commitment to the best ability,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite being defeated twice before, Sih said he went on to work with passion as he knew there are many people who voted for him also and he would not let them down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI believe in what I am doing and the struggle of SUPP. I will continue to serve. I know how tough this journey has been for me but I have a team who never let me down and that makes me carried on with jest. I also believe in the trust given to me by those who voted for me before so I will not let them down,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sih said flood mitigation, to him, is a priority and if elected, he wants to make Batu Lintang constituency to be an area where people are enjoying high quality living, as 80 percent of his constituency is a residential area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sih wanted to make Kampung Tabuan Dayak as a cultural kampung as it has a rich history. He said the 5000 residents are mostly lower income groups and more programs will be drawn up to preserve their rich culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the SMK Sg. Maong School hall, Sih said it started operation in January 1983 at the end of Lorong Pisang Barat 11C and has a current population of 1,400. Despite the fact that it has been in existence for nearly 40 years, there was no school hall and it is in the best interest of the students to get such facilities which are vital for student learning development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tabuan Jaya, he added, is a fast developing mixed area with 4500 residential houses and 700 commercial shop lots. A community hall is essential for such a high population density for the local community interest, well being and agenda. The hall can cater for the aged community for a place for them to interact together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tabuan Heights community hall is another massive mixed development area with 1400 and 360 commercial centres. It is a vibrant area with more younger age working class groups where social, sports, educational and cultural activities or facilities may draw greater interest among them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Satellite clinic is one, he said is the proposed clinic in Tabuan Jaya area may serve a local population of 120,000 and it is crucial they have a clinic for the residents there. Sih will also upgrade the parks and upgrade the security of the neighbourhood in Batu Kitang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also at the launch was party president, Dato\u2019 Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian and Datuk Mathew Cheng, organizing Chairman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
