SUPP Sentosa Chairman, Wilfred Yap appeals to his constituents to give him a chance this coming elections and not to be intimidated by his fierce outlook. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yap, at a thanksgiving ceremony with Batu Kitang state Assemblyman, Lo Khere Chiang in Jalan Semaba said he has been in SUPP for more than 20 years and had assisted countless people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said he knew that there are people who claimed that he has a fierce look but if looks were to determine the winners of an election, there will be no more democracy left, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yap said it is what the candidate in the area can do for you if you are in trouble and not how the candidate looks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said there are people who complained as he did not help them when they approached him. He said they had dabbled in illegal cases and he would not want to go against the laws to assist such people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If , he added, they were unfairly treated, Yap said he would go all out to help such people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2014, he set up SUPP Public Complaints Bureau where he helped countless people among which included online scams, illegal money lenders. unfair dismissal, fraud, citizenship issues, false identity and financial banking problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yap who is a MPP councillor and a lawyer said he is all ready to fight for the people and told them to give him a chance to prove himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
