The Bomba will have a difficult time and this will hamper their effort to save properties,\u201d said Lo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added that it is unlawful to have the fire hydrant covered up and it is under the MPP\u2019s jurisdiction to ensure that there should be no illegal structure surrounding the fire hydrants in Padawan area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanking the firemen for their diligent work, Lo said working as a fireman is a risky job and often their hard work and contributions have not been duly recognised by members of the public. At times, he added, when fire breaks out, Bomba gets the blame for not being able to save the property but the people are the ones who have caused much distress to Bomba for failing to help to ensure that fire hydrants in our vicinity are clean and clear of all objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said firemen not only save properties and people from fire. And their jobs are so diverse. They also help to look for missing persons in the jungles, at sea and catch snakes, get rid of beehives, talk to attempt suicide victims and a great many other things.
