The Sibu Hospital has\u00a0the highest number at nine (9) followed by one (1) each at the Sarawak General\u00a0Hospital in Kuching and the Miri Hospital. Yesterday only six (6) were recorded. The\u00a0cumulative PUI cases in the State from January 10 until yesterday stood at 57.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However of the total, 36 cases had tested negative. The balance of 21 (which\u00a0include the 11 new cases today) are awaiting laboratory testing result. In all\u00a0Malaysian nationals at 42 contribute to the biggest number of the PUI cases,\u00a0followed by 13 Chinese nationals and one (1) Thai and one (1) Indonesian national.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the State Health Department has screened 5,876 arrivals at the various\u00a0air, sea and land entry points to the State yesterday until 11am. From 2 February\u00a0until yesterday, some 52,203 arrivals to the State had been screened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Health Department meanwhile is again advising everyone to observe the highest\u00a0standard of health through the following measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. People must cover their mouth and nose with tissue papers when coughing or\u00a0sneezing. The used papers must be disposed of in rubbish bin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. People must wash their hands with soap or hand sanitizer after coughing or\u00a0sneezing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Such proper coughing or sneezing etiquette or habit must be observed at all\u00a0times.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. People are advised to use face mask when communicating with others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. People must take care of their personal cleanliness at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The department also advises those who fell sick with fever, coughing and difficulty in\u00a0breathing within 14 days after visiting China to report to the nearest hospitals. They\u00a0should inform the doctors attending to them of their travelling history. All doctors\u00a0whether they are from Government hospitals or clinic and those in the private\u00a0practice must notify the Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) of the\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>State Health Department immediately if they come across any suspected case.
