As such, the residents had requested for clearing of rubbish and overgrown weeds and improvement works to be carried out on the earth drains to prevent flash flooding and waterlogged roads in view of the coming rainy season.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of just complaining, SUPP Public Complaints Bureau hopes that residents will also take proactive steps\u00a0 not to throw rubbish indiscriminately into the drains which is not only unsightly but which will clogged up the drains and cause flooding.<\/p>\n<p>As an interim measure, SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief, Wilfred Yap have on behalf of the residents requested\u00a0 Kuching South City Council and Drainage &amp; Irrigation Department to urgently take immediate action to resolve the complaints of the residents.<\/p>\n<p>SUPP Public Complaints Bureau also appeals to the Federal or State Government to assist the residents of Stampin Resettlement Scheme by allocating development funds to resolve the problems of the poor road and drainage situation.<\/p>\n<p>SUPP Public Complaints Bureau is always ready to lend a helping hand to the anyone facing\u00a0 problems or who come across problems of public interest but does not know how to deal with it.
