We view the Bill as the\u00a0Pakatan Harapan government\u2019s another failure to honour the Malaysia\u00a0Agreement 1963 (\u201cMA63\u201d) and in fact PH has just committed another \u201cU\u00a0turn\u201d on their election promise to return Sabah and Sarawak\u2019s status\u00a0accorded in the MA63.<\/p>\n<p>Why bother to table an amendment Bill whereby the return of Sarawak\u2019s\u00a0autonomy in healthcare and education as promised by the PH is nowhere\u00a0to be found? Where is the amendment to Article 160 to make Malaysia a\u00a0federation under the MA63, instead of the Federation of Malaya\u00a0Agreement 1957? Where are Sarawak\u2019s substantial entitlement to a third\u00a0of national resources and a third in the house of representatives in\u00a0the proposed Bill?<\/p>\n<p>Therefore SUPP demands the Bill to be withdrawn as the contents of the\u00a0Bill are against the wishes of our people in Sarawak.
