However, the\u00a0people of Sarawak are still unclear and do not know the contents of\u00a0such amendment. This is absolutely unfair to Sarawak. It proves that\u00a0the MPs from Pakatan Harapan (PH) Sarawak fail to speak or voice out\u00a0for Sarawakians in the Parliament.<\/p>\n<p>The chairman of PH Sarawak YB Chong Chieng Jen has not only failed to\u00a0explain to the people of Sarawak the contents of the proposed\u00a0amendments to the federal constitution, but instead asked the MPs from\u00a0Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) to refrain from disrupting and give their\u00a0full support to the proposed constitutional amendment. GPS government\u00a0of Sarawak has shown more concerns on the substance rather than in\u00a0form and restoration of rights in the amendment of constitution. Yet\u00a0Chong describes it as &#8220;disruption&#8221; and &#8220;sabotage&#8221;. What if the\u00a0constitutional amendment is unfavourable to Sarawak thus jeopardising\u00a0Sarawak\u2019s interests? It is affront to logic for GPS MPs to support the\u00a0amendment blindly if this is the outcome of the amendment. Chong\u2019s\u00a0remarks have proven that he does not represent and stand in the\u00a0position of Sarawakian to safeguard the interests of Sarawak, but\u00a0instead he represents Malaya whom he has all along shown obedience and\u00a0acquiescence to.<\/p>\n<p>As a member of parliament, Chong who is also a deputy minister in the\u00a0federal cabinet, why is it so difficult for him to get or obtain the\u00a0contents of bill for constitutional amendment for the people of\u00a0Sarawak? Or even Chong himself has been kept in clueless by his\u00a0Malayan leader, without knowing the contents of such amendment?
