On this occasion, the people dedicate thanks to the nature (The Sun God) for giving abundant agriculture crops to people\u00a0in the universe.<\/p>\n<p>In traditional, this harvest festival is celebrated a four-day-long, which falls according Tamil calendar in the month of Thai which is around mid-January.
