In their manifesto, Sarawak DAP claimed that Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) will be accepted but instead the Education Minister concentrated on black and white shoes. There seems to be no urgency on important matters,” he said.

Foo reckoned that the new government may have the mandate to rule the country but he is confident that they will not have the mandate to abolish the death penalty. He dared Deputy Minister for Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, Chong Chieng Jen to hold a public referendum to see how many people are on his side.

On the oil royalty, Foo stated that in their manifesto, there was a promised made to increase oil royalty without negotiation from 5 to 20 percent. Sarawakians are right to reject the 5% plus 20 profit as that was not what was stated in the manifesto.

He also asked Chong to use his influence to ask the Prime Minister to have investment pumped in to help Sarawak as there was no good news at all for Sarawak since they took over. The PM should also helped out Sarawak as we are considered equal partners.

(1)Death sentence:

(A) there are no ending to two schools of thought on whether or not to abolish death penalty. But we question PH why focus on this issues affecting not more than 2000 on death row whereby 30 billion Malaysians are expecting PH to solve the economy. This is a diversion tactic. Like UEC issues, PH prefers to focus on colour of school shoes and socks. This is to cover their inability to save Malaysia and give us HARAPAN

(B) the PH government might have the mandate to govern, but I’m very confident they don’t have the mandate to abolish death penalty! I dare the PH government to hold a public referendum to see how many more ppl are on their side on their motion to abolish death sentence!

(2) What about the promised 20% oil royalty now? Did DAP Sarawak ever demand that in the cabinet? Sarawakians are right to reject Dap’s 5+20 oil profit proposal because we are no stupid and this was not what they promised to deliver when they won! According to a statement by Petronas CEO Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin in August last year, Sarawak has the capacity to produce 850,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day! The current international market price of oil is RM291 per barrel, which means Sarawak has contributed approximately RM250mil (RM291 x 850,000 barrels) to Petronas everyday, which is equivalent to 100 brand new Rolls Royce Phantom (RM2.2m per unit) sent to Malaya from Sarawak in a day! In other words, we have given to Malaya the total amount of 36,500 units of Rolls Royce in a year (365 days x 100 units)!

(3) Has DAP Sarawak fought for more foreign investments for Sarawak in the PH government after PM Tun Mahathir spent RM6.4 million touring the world since 509?
