Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP), Central Youth Chief, Michael\u00a0Tiang has coined the word “EDGE” to represent the youth logo as a new\u00a0identity to march the party candidates into the election battle\u00a0grounds as the defenders for Sarawak and SUPP.<\/p>\n

Inviting the Party president, Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian to launch the\u00a0logo, Tiang said\u00a0 E.D.G.E means E – Enthusiastic which is very
\nimportant for the youths to be part of SUPP with enthusiasm.\u00a0Enthusiasm for Sarawak. Enthusiasm for the well being of Sarawakians,\u00a0which comprise of all races, religions and cultures. We can\u2019t tell the\u00a0youths to love Sarawak and join SUPP. But their love for Sarawak must\u00a0come from their own hearts, and their enthusiasm leads them to SUPP,\u00a0which is the longest established political platform in Sarawak since\u00a01959.<\/p>\n

D – Dynamic , Let your enthusiasm and passion turn into actions!\u00a0Nothing speaks louder than actions. One medical doctor used to advise\u00a0me that, \u201cSpeak less, do more. Prove your sincerity by actions.\u201d In\u00a0fact, there are no louder words than actions. Therefore, SUPP Youth\u00a0must be synonymous to ACTIONS.<\/p>\n

G – Gritty<\/p>\n

A recent studies in the States found out that among many children,\u00a0those grew up to be outstanding and excellent in achievements, are\u00a0those who are gritty. The one who are persevered and determined.\u00a0There\u2019s a saying that, \u201cit\u2019s hard to beat someone who never gives up!\u201d\u00a0Our forefathers built this Party with their grit and sacrifices. SUPP\u00a0Youths therefore wish to inherit their spirit so as to build a\u00a0Stronger SUPP to serve the people of Sarawak.<\/p>\n

E – Effective<\/p>\n

SUPP Youth must be effective and influential in our society. Effective\u00a0in helping our society, contributing solutions to our problems,\u00a0effective in making a difference in people\u2019s life by channeling\u00a0government resources through creative and impactful ways.<\/p>\n

Tiang pointed out that as the 14th General Election is approaching, it\u00a0is therefore also a right time for SUPP Youth Central to launch a new\u00a0logo to mark as the renewed identity for our Youth team to march into\u00a0the election battle grounds as the defenders for Sarawak and SUPP.<\/p>\n

He added that the Youth is tasked with a mission to continue to\u00a0educate our Sarawakian younger generation about Sarawak\u2019s position and\u00a0rights under MA63. We are responsible to nurture a new generation of\u00a0defenders to safeguard Sarawak. We are also commissioned to build up\u00a0young entrepreneurs to participate actively in digital economy as\u00a0envisioned by our YAB Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abg Zohari Tun\u00a0Openg.<\/p>\n

As for this coming General Election, SUPP Youth are ready to go to the\u00a0frontline and give support to all BN candidates. We are also committed\u00a0to defend our ground through social media.<\/p>\n
