{"id":21483,"date":"2018-04-08T21:56:21","date_gmt":"2018-04-08T13:56:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=21483"},"modified":"2018-04-09T11:17:58","modified_gmt":"2018-04-09T03:17:58","slug":"a-new-source-of-revenue-for-sarawak","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=21483","title":{"rendered":"A new source of revenue for Sarawak"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><span><span>Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u200bsaid Sarawak is set to have a new source of revenue which will make life easier for Sarawakians.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\u200bSpeaking \u200bat the launch of Sehati Research Institute (SRI) in\u00a0 Sarawak United People\u2019s Party (SUPP) headquarters here yesterday\u200b, Abang Jo said \u200bSarawak has\u200b our own bank, Development Bank of Sarawak (DBOS)\u00a0to finance the various projects planned for the\u00a0 state\u200b which\u200b\u00a0has a business model to fund the projects that had been announced.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cWe have our own bank, the Development Bank of Sarawak (DBOS). We have the money, but of course we must make use of the money prudently,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\u200bAbang Jo also\u00a0stressed that the state government emphasises the importance of research. He said there are lots of things that Sarawakians still do not understand scientifically, including wild flowers and orchids in the state.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>He believed that many of these plants possess beneficial properties which scientific research can identify.
