{"id":21167,"date":"2018-03-12T20:11:56","date_gmt":"2018-03-12T12:11:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=21167"},"modified":"2018-03-13T11:06:45","modified_gmt":"2018-03-13T03:06:45","slug":"3rd-mile-market-first-to-adopt-maybank-qrpay","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=21167","title":{"rendered":"3rd Mile Market first to adopt Maybank QRPay"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><span><span>Members of the public can now pay for their groceries\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u200bthrough t\u200bhe convenient and seamless nature of Maybank QRPay,\u00a0at the 3rd Mile Market\u00a0by scanning a quick response (QR) code with their smartphones.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian\u00a0\u200bsaid\u00a0the Maybank QRPay\u00a0\u200bis \u200bsimilar to that of Alipay, China\u2019s leading third-party online payment platform\u00a0as \u200bthis new digital initiative by the bank allows customers to instantly pay for products and services while merchants will benefit from cashless transactions.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\u200bDr. Sim said our\u00a0Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg has been stressing on digital economy and we are very pleased that the 3rd Mile Market here now features a cashless payment system with Maybank QRPay so customers can pay for their purchase even if it\u2019s only RM1.
