Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) Deputy President, Dato\u2019 Sri Tiong King Sing warned branch Chairman who wished to leave SPDP not to sign on any member’s behalf.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the SPDP headquarters, Tiong said there were people who alleged a great number of Youth and Woman\u2019s Wing had left SPDP for Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak (Teras) whereas in actual fact, there were only 20 or 30 members.<\/p>\n
The woman’s wing of some branches including that of Puteri and Putra, were not officially formed as they have yet to be accepted by Registrar of Society due to technical problems. \u201cSo how can they claim that so many have join Teras on Sunday for Pending and Bukit Asset branches,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
On Sunday night, he said there was a group of people who came to see him and told him that they did not know their names were in the group which quit SPDP and some even had their photos taken without knowing the real reason.<\/p>\n
On the appointment of an Acting President, Tiong said they would be having the Supreme council meeting this Friday in Bintulu and he wanted everyone to sit down and discuss the matter, to get everyone consensus.<\/p>\n
