The\u00a0event is in DBKU\u2019s jurisdiction and we are proud partners with the\u00a0organizing committee on aspects that we can assist.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The character of the event using the slogan \u201cSight Sound &amp; Taste\u201d as\u00a0its guide and Unity in Diversity as it\u2019s principle, is in line with\u00a0the \u201cUnity City\u201d moniker which was bestowed on our city three years\u00a0ago.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers have definitely worked tirelessly for months ahead of\u00a0the event just to give us the entire final product. What we all see as\u00a0normal is actually well planned hard work and dedication. I\u00a0congratulate Dato Sim Swee Yong, the function chairman for choosing\u00a0the right team for the task.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers have put into practice these ideas and now the end\u00a0product is a festival that Kuchingites look forward to yearly. I\u00a0myself look forward to it and I\u2019m pleased to be here tonight to enjoy\u00a0the festival.
