{"id":19473,"date":"2017-09-16T18:20:21","date_gmt":"2017-09-16T10:20:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=19473"},"modified":"2017-09-16T22:09:06","modified_gmt":"2017-09-16T14:09:06","slug":"new-polyclinic-on-a-5-9-acre-site-adjacent-to-miri-hospita","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=19473","title":{"rendered":"New polyclinic on a 5.9-acre site adjacent to Miri Hospita"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The RM35-million polyclinic project, scheduled for completion in 2020, should serve as a solution to the acute congestion at the current facility, which is in the city centre.<\/p>\n<p>The new polyclinic will be sited on a 5.9-acre site adjacent to Miri Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>According to Piasau assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting, the project, under the 11th Malaysia Plan (11MP), consists of two phases.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPhase I which included earth-filling works, costing RM2 million, reached completion in June this year \u2013 two months ahead of schedule.,<\/p>\n<p>Phase II costing RM33 million will commence in August 2018, with project tender to be out in April 2018,\u201d he told reporters after visiting the project site yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>On the facilities at the new polyclinic, Ting said it would a total of 130 parking spaces.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will suggest to the Ministry of Health for a multi-storey carpark facility to be built at the polyclinic.
