When\u00a0he was our party president, I was a member in the Batu Kawa branch.<\/p>\n<p>Datuk Patinggi was a no-nonsense and disciplined leader. He also made\u00a0sure SUPP played a inclusive role in the Barisan Nasional\u00a0decision-making. He was really a gentleman to the end.<\/p>\n<p>Even towards the end, he was loyal to the Party and hoped that we will\u00a0do well.
