{"id":16069,"date":"2017-03-10T16:33:28","date_gmt":"2017-03-10T08:33:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=16069"},"modified":"2017-03-11T01:07:53","modified_gmt":"2017-03-10T17:07:53","slug":"protest-on-use-of-lorong-stampin-tengah-5e-as-main-access-into-condominium-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=16069","title":{"rendered":"Protest on use of Lorong Stampin Tengah 5E as main access into Condominium Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap recently went back for a follow up meeting with\u00a0the residents\u00a0and home owners of Shefford View Neighbourhood located at Lorong Stampin Tengah 5E who had protested on the usage of Lorong Stampin Tengah 5E as a main access into a proposed Condominium Project.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, SUPP PCB was further informed that the surrounding residences around Shefford View Neighbourhood also\u00a0totally\u00a0object and oppose to any vehicular ingress or egress from the new proposed condominium development site into the present residential areas now and in future.<\/p>\n<p>Presently Lorong Stampin Tengah 5 (gazetted with max.\u00a05 tons tonnage road\u00a0signs and having 8 \u2013 9 humps) is already currently overloaded with traffic access by the current 1000 + residents. It is also being used by non-residents and commercial vehicles using and passing from\u00a0GreenHeights\u00a0area to 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Mile Jalan Penrissen which has further aggravated the traffic congestion during peak hours.<\/p>\n<p>SUPP PCB\u00a0 had on the 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0November 2016 on behalf of the affected residents of Shefford View Neighbourhood written to Kementerian Perancangan Sumber dan Alam Sekitar Sarawak and Jabatan Tanah dan Survei Sarawak to notify them on their protest. However SUPP PCB and the affected residents have not receive any response from the authorities.<\/p>\n<p>The affected residents\u00a0have now requested SUPP PCB to convey their predicament\u00a0 to the Chief Minister\u00a0and hopes the relevant Authorities will \u00a0ensure that the developer uses Jalan Datuk Bandar Mustapha as the main access to their high density and commercial development.
