Tiang reminded the management that such practice is totally incompatible with Sarawak\u2019s multi-cultural and religious society. If McDonald\u2019s would implement the same policy in its fast-food outlets in Sarawak, Tiang believes the non-Muslim consumers might resort to boycott the fast-food chain.<\/p>\n<p>Tiang stressed that one of the unique features of Sarawak is that there is always a harmonious and tolerant virtue among different ethnics and religions. In fact, such solidarity is the pride of all Sarawakians.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSarawak cannot condone any religious or racial extremisms which would only destroy the solidarity among Sarawak people.
