{"id":12400,"date":"2016-09-13T19:35:47","date_gmt":"2016-09-13T11:35:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=12400"},"modified":"2016-09-13T23:53:03","modified_gmt":"2016-09-13T15:53:03","slug":"living-in-unity-harmony-through-shared-festivities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=12400","title":{"rendered":"Living in unity, harmony through shared festivities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sarawak always celebrate festivals with one heart and I fully support\u00a0our Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Adenan Satem when he said\u00a0Sarawakians know better and that Chinese and Indians are not\u00a0\u2018pendatang\u2019, said Minister for Local Government, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim\u00a0Kui Hian.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the Kuching Intercultural Moon cake festival at Carpenter\u00a0Street, Dr. Sim said walking along Carpenter Street where the food\u00a0stalls are also contributing to his 10,000 steps per day while\u00a0enjoying the variety kind of food there.<\/p>\n<p>He said it is fine to spoil oneself at times but burned off\u00a0calories by walking.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Sim added that his work as a medical practitioner was inspired by a\u00a0desire to diagnose problems and provide practical solutions, whether\u00a0it was in the hospital before, or in politics now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c I have been privileged to see for myself many cultures and\u00a0environments and I learned very early that Unity amongst all of us is\u00a0paramount to see a successful Sarawak for the years to come.
