石角大马教育文凭备考工作营

居住在石角选区的600名即将面对大马教育文凭（SPM）考试的学生，日前参与为期两天的备考工作营，让考生能从中更好掌握考试技能。石角区议员拿督阿玛沈桂贤是从2024年开始，推行这项生活营，目的是让考生能更好掌握各项备考技能，以便能考到优异成绩。有关活动是在石角洪清河多种用途中心，主办当局也邀请多位资深讲师，为考生提供多方面的讲解，以及所有和备考有关的事项。参与的600为考生，除了就读石角选区三所中学，即石角民立中学、石角国中和煤炭路中学外，也包括那些不是就读上述三所中学的石角大马教育文凭考生。沈桂贤高兴看到类型的活动能再次顺利举行，并感谢各校校长、老师及家长的配合与支持。他说，大马教育文凭是马来西亚非常重要的文凭之一，它对学生日后的升学与就业都起着非常重要的作用，因此希望全体考生都能考取优异的成绩。他高兴看到，历年来，砂拉越考生都能在大马教育文凭考试中，考获优异成绩，当中包括许多来自石角地区的学生。沈桂贤指出，砂拉越政府非常重视教育的培训，过去一些学生可能面对家境条件不好，影响继续升学机会，但现在砂拉越政府提高了许多良好的升学援助，包括免费教育、提供奖贷学金、提供电脑，甚至生活费，因此经费不是阻碍一个学生继续升学障碍。 “砂拉越国家建设的成功离不开良好的教育，才能拥有源源不断的优秀人才。让我们携手合作，确保砂拉越拥有更多和更大的成功机会。“
