The Organising Chairman, Mr Adam Yii, said this is the 3rd in a series of Forums conducted by Encik Zainnal Ajamain. Encik Zainnal is the author of the bestselling book “The Queen’s Obligation” and he advocates the implementation of the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) in Sabah and Sarawak.<\/p>\n
Encik Zainnal has the ability to fully engage the audience and explain the key aspects of MA63.<\/p>\n
MA63 which formed Malaysia, is an International Treaty setting out the terms for the Federation of Malaya, Sarawak and Sabah to form Malaysia.<\/p>\n
It is well known that the Federal government has not adhered to many important aspects of MA63.<\/p>\n
Mr Adam Yii said SUPP’s objective in organising these Forums throughout Sarawak is to ensure we Sarawakians can collectively campaign for our rightful place within Malaysia as an autonomous nation state as intended in MA63.<\/p>\n
We would like all Sarawakians to acquire the correct information, knowledge and learn about the original spirit behind the formation of Malaysia.<\/p>\n
We encourage as many people as possible to come for this Forum and also bring their friends and family.<\/p>\n
We strongly believe that with a good understanding on MA63, we Sarawakians can together lobby for more autonomy via proper engagement with the Federal government while maintaining stability in Sarawak at the same time.<\/p>\n
