Do you think after discarding Chinese voters and with a new party formed, you will be accepted by the Chinese voters?\u201d asked Tiong. He warned that the Chinese will not accept such a party.<\/p>\n<p>Tiong also blasted Tang You Chiong from Sibu, who has given his comments in local Chinese papers, to think carefully before giving his views.<\/p>\n<p>Tang had on January 30th called SUPP President, Tan Sri Peter Chin a traitor for a proposal (suggested by a SUPP member in Kuching) to merge Sarawak Progressive Democratic party (SPDP) and SUPP and that the merger is against the principles of SUPP.<\/p>\n<p>Tiong said if both party Presidents agreed to the proposal and taking in consideration the members feelings, why not? Both parties are multi racial and if it is for the better future of both parties in Sarawak politics, then it is a good idea.
