The Bon Fire Team would like to say thank you to YB See Chee How for agreeing with SUPP as a Sarawakian based party, is very important to the political landscape of Sarawakian politics and will best serve the people of Sarawak as one political party and not split into two parties.<\/p>\n
However while the honorable YB was concerned with the political future of SUPP, the Bon Fire team would like to point out that speculation that one of the five new parties being formed in the state was for SUPP cannot be further from the truth. The Bon Fire team is fully confident that the party leadership from both sides of the divide will come together and save the party.<\/p>\n
The team would like to highlight here that it is suspicious of the DAP leadership in Sarawak. On the last sitting of the DUN in Nov 2013, we were surprised to read that Yb Chong Chieng Jen would only apologize to Datuk Amar Abang Zohari for his statements (please refer Hansard) only if the DUN would pass a law to ban UMNO from entering Sarawak. In relation to the five new parties we believe that one may actually be for DAP Sarawak leadership in the event that DAP as a whole is deregistered.<\/p>\n
We can see that DAP Sarawak is probably preparing to become a regional party just like SUPP and like SUPP will not want any west Malaysian based party operate in Sarawak, thus shutting out PKR and PAS by default. Recent statements by DAP with regards a coalition with SWP further strengthens this theory.<\/p>\n
The Bon Fire team would like to highlight here that UMNO will never come to Sarawak as long as the voters still return the Sarawakian BN parties to power. As seen in the last general election DAP\u2019s talk of Change of government did not happen and now Sarawak has more ministers in the cabinet than ever before.<\/p>\n
Statements from the opposition on the new target of 24 state seats is yet just another indication that DAP is preparing to hoodwink the people again. We urge the people to see through all these games being played by the opposition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
