The enforcement must be compassionate as some traders are bound to make unintentional mistakes.<\/p>\n<p>What is important is the\u00a0underlying principle\u00a0to benefit the rakyat and at the same time ensuring that no one evade or minimize the paying of tax.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Sim however\u00a0strongly feels\u00a0that the people of Sarawak, who are \u00a0very much dependent on air transport not just due to poor road transport\/networking, but also the sheer distance between towns, should not be burden with the 6% GST for\u00a0domestic flights.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is not too late as we must have the courage to made adjustment and changes.
