{"id":4955,"date":"2014-12-23T17:23:43","date_gmt":"2014-12-23T09:23:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=4955"},"modified":"2014-12-23T18:37:04","modified_gmt":"2014-12-23T10:37:04","slug":"dato-sebastian-sarawak-has-no-place-for-isma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=4955","title":{"rendered":"Dato Sebastian: Sarawak has no place for Isma"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sarawak has no place for people from Ikatan Muslim in Malaysia (Isma) who had recently advised Malaysian Muslims to conduct preaching during Christmas and that wishing Malaysian Christians \u201cmerry Christmas\u201d would be tantamount to Muslims admitting that God has a son, said Sarawak United Peoples\u201d Party (SUPP) Secretary general, Dato\u2019 Sebastian Ting.<\/p>\n<p>Ting condemned such statement and said this group of people and Perkasa should never step foot in Sarawak as they are not welcomed with such extremists views.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very disturbed upon learning that this extremist group could come up with such statement. We Malaysians pride ourselves to be a country of moderation and have accepted each other with mutual respect all these years. We have been living in harmony and unity,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n<p>Since Perkasa and Isma emerged a few years ago, Ting said there has been nothing good coming out from them. \u201cThey preach extremist views and instead of bringing all Malaysians together, they were tearing the fabric of Malaysian society.
