The family relies entirely on monthly welfare assistance of RM450 to make ends meet. However, the resident discovered that his account with Bank Simpanan Nasional had been closed, preventing the welfare payments from being credited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is understood that the closure was linked to issues involving inactive accounts in two other banks, which were allegedly flagged for possible mule account activity. The situation placed significant financial strain on the family, especially with no alternative source of income.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recognising the urgency, Yap personally accompanied the individual to the bank to help clarify the matter with officers and facilitate the necessary procedures to reactivate the account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His intervention ensured the case received prompt attention and that the family\u2019s circumstances were clearly understood, enabling steps to restore access to the welfare aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yap said the effort was not merely about resolving an administrative issue, but about safeguarding the well-being of a struggling family and ensuring that the children continue to receive essential support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
