The “2024 Free Education Program ” provided by Miri IBS College held a launching ceremony recently aiming to provide free short-term courses for 2023 SPM students to help them embark on the road to higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarawak Deputy Minister of Tourism. Creative Industry and Performing Arts, DatukSebastian Ting who was guest of honor said at the launching ceremony of the “2024 Free Education Program” of Miri IBS College provided free education course from April 1 to May 30, and a total of 100 students who took the Malaysian Education Certificate (SPM) examination last year will benefit from it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, he has previously obtained the college’s commitment that similar free education programs will continue to be held every year, but what kind of free education courses will be formulated at that time will be adjusted according to market demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ting pointed out that this free education program provided by IBS College is to help graduates prepare for future challenges. Whether they are preparing to go to school or preparing to enter the workplace, whether they are willing to embark on the road to higher education in the future, but students will be accompanied by anxiety and uncertainty while waiting for the SPM results to come out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said that this free education program aimed to provide a supportive environment for students so that they can not only prepare academically, but also learn the education model and knowledge that cannot be learned in school through this short course, and gain valuable experience to shape the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ting who is also State Assemblyman for Piasau, hoped to instill confidence and self-confidence in the hearts of each participant and that they will recognize their potential, embrace their strengths, and pursue their aspirations with determination. He added that they recognize the importance of using time effectively while waiting for the SPM results. Participants will be provided with tools and resources to hone their skills and expand their knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kknowledge learned by students, he stated, or a craft learned, can benefit them for a lifetime and no one can take it away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The free short-term education courses provided by Miri IBS College include learning computer and English skills and providing training education for leadership and business development. Among them, the quota for computer and mastering English skills has been filled. He urged other colleges, educators, parents and students, to support this noble cause together to shape a brighter future for the youth, a future full of infinite possibilities and boundless opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
