\u201cAlthough, we can not be 100% sure that the air we breathe will always be 100% safe, wearing mask can help reduce the risk of COVID19 in two ways, that is, if the air has been contaminated: mask can filter the air and make it cleaner and if an infected person is present, the mask can stop the person from contaminating the air by containing his\/her airway droplets and saliva within his\/her mask.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said wearing a mask is a simple and effective step and there are people out there who did not bother to use it or put it on in a correct way. He said it is important to think before one wants remove the mask, particularly when you are in public places or there is someone around you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhen you remove your mask, you are either putting yourself in danger (because you may breathe in contaminated air), or endangering the people around you (because you could contaminate the air they breathe)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Again, he called those who have not been vaccinated to ensure that they are as it is the only way to be less sick if infected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To protect yourself, he said one has to be responsible to ensure that their family members aged 12 years and above get vaccinated and encourage those they know who are not vaccinated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBasic hygiene is simple things to do, clean your hands frequently, especially before you touch your eye, nose and mouth and use a face shield while reducing physical interactions with people, including your family members and relatives, who are not living together with you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
