{"id":2876,"date":"2014-07-04T21:12:23","date_gmt":"2014-07-04T13:12:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=2876"},"modified":"2014-07-04T21:41:20","modified_gmt":"2014-07-04T13:41:20","slug":"cross-cultural-unity-at-the-pasar-ramadan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=2876","title":{"rendered":"Cross-cultural unity at the Pasar Ramadan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SUPP Publicity Chief, Dato&#8217; Sebastian Ting who is also the Piasau Chairman, showed what 1Malaysia is all about.<\/p>\n<p>With his Piasau branch committee, the group took a walk around the Ramadan stalls at Mosque Jaya along Airport Road.<\/p>\n<p>Ting and his group mingled with the crowd and chatted with the hawkers.<\/p>\n<p>He said as Malaysian it is normal\u00a0for them\u00a0to share in the joy of auspicious days with each other, despite their\u00a0different religious and cultural beliefs.<\/p>\n<p>Through such mingling with one another\u00a0Ting added that it would foster the good relationship Sarawakians have with all races and different religions.<\/p>\n<p>He said at the stalls, not only the Muslims were there buying food but people of all races.
