SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap is frequently\u00a0 approached by the residents staying in the vicinity of 7th<\/sup>\u00a0Mile and business community of Kota Sentosa commercial area during his regular \u201cturun padang\u201d activity to the area.<\/p>\n

During the last visit, the residents and business community had complained to him of the poor condition and numerous potholes on Lorong 3, Jalan Stakan which causes it to be water logged at certain section after it rains and also slows down traffic. They had requested for Lorong 3, Jalan Stakan to be properly maintained due to the heavy traffic at Lorong 3, Jalan Stakan as it is used by the public as a by-pass to avoid the traffic congestion at Kota Sentosa commercial area during peak hours.<\/p>\n

Following the request for assistance received, Wilfred Yap had gone to inspect and assess the situation and also to see what can be done to resolve the problem. The matter was\u00a0 brought up to the attention of\u00a0 MPP and\u00a0 MPP’s contractor\u00a0 have commenced the repair and maintenance works. SPCB Chief, Wilfred Yap will continue to follow up and monitor the situation closely until the tar sealing repairs of pot holes and maintainance works on Lorong 3, Jalan Stakan is completed to the satisfaction of all parties.<\/p>\n

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap also hopes that the current Stampin Member of Parliament, Kota Sentosa State Assemblyman and Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, YB Chong Chieng Jen will assist the residents and business community of Kota Sentosa commercial area by applying and securing development funds from the Federal Government to upgrade and widen Lorong 3, Jalan Stakan to improve traffic flow caused by the increasing usage of this road as a by pass.<\/p>\n

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap and SUPP members of 7th<\/sup>\u00a0Mile Sub Branch shall also continue to serve as the eyes and ears of the community living there to ensure that the infrastructure facilities in 7th<\/sup>\u00a0Mile area are in good condition and maintained properly for the benefit of the community living there. Wilfred Yap will also continue to highlight and try to resolve issues of public interest affecting the public.<\/p>\n
