1.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0SUPP is in agreement with and supports\u00a0the call by PRS Secretary-General Dato’ Janang Bungsu to take away all\u00a0government appointments to PSB (previously known as UPP) such as the\u00a0ministerial appointment, political secretary appointment to the Chief\u00a0Minister, councillorship, local council chairmanship as well as\u00a0cutting off their RTP and MRP funding immediately.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 \u00a0 SUPP has been right all this while, that UPP (now PSB) has never\u00a0been friendly to SUPP and yesterday political news of showed very\u00a0clearly that they are now also not friendly to PRS, another component\u00a0party of GPS.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 \u00a0On the 4th January 2019, SUPP released a press statement with the headline\u00a0UPP not SUPP friendly as yet, says Ting.\u00a0There I said If UPP was not friendly to SUPP, it was therefore\u00a0illogical to say that they were friendly to GPS. SUPP is part of GPS.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 \u00a0 Today SUPP would like to reiterate that UPP (now PSB) has never\u00a0been friendly to BN then and now GPS. UPP (PSB) then was only friendly\u00a0to PBB, even though they said they were friendly to BN and now GPS.\u00a0Their yesterday press statement was even worse as they only pledged\u00a0loyalty to one person only, namely the Chief Minister of Sarawak. The\u00a0name PBB was not even mentioned at all.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0 \u00a0 Now it is as clear as the water in Mulu cave, that they are not\u00a0GPS friendly. Any attack or unfriendly action against fellow component\u00a0GPS Parties must be seen and be taken as an attack against GPS as a\u00a0whole.\u00a0At least they (PSB) are now slightly honest to say they are loyal to\u00a0our Sarawak Chief Minister only and did not continue to say they are\u00a0GPS friendly.\u00a0 It is laughable if one day in the near future they\u00a0announce and tell the whole world that they are GPS friendly again.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 Since that is the case, many people on the ground throughout\u00a0Sarawak are asking.. . Can or should anyone of them (PSB member)\u00a0continue to be Cabinet Minister and or Assistant Minister of GPS\u00a0government? This is because the present Sarawak Government is GPS\u00a0government and they have acted adversely against two of the GPS\u00a0Component Parties, namely PRS and SUPP.<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0 \u00a0 Morally they should know what to do but given the present\u00a0political expediency, they are unlikely to tender their resignations..<\/p>\n

8.\u00a0 \u00a0 Of course we all know that the appointment or retention of\u00a0Cabinet Ministers and Assistant Ministers is the sole and absolute\u00a0prerogative of our Chief Minister.\u00a0 It is entirely up to our Chief\u00a0Minister to consider whether it is better for or in the best interest\u00a0of GPS to keep them as members in the present Cabinet.\u00a0 The pros and\u00a0cons \u00a0must be weighed and considered, very carefully.<\/p>\n
