The stance of Sarawak United People\u2019s Party (SUPP) in safeguarding the interests and rights of Sarawak is clear and steadfast. In fact, the\u00a0 responsibility and obligation\u00a0 of safeguarding the rights of Sarawak falls on the shoulder of Sarawak based political parties, which know the actual situation of Sarawak as well as the aspiration of the local people. SUPP has all this while do not support any political parties from outside Sarawak, including those from Malaya coming to Sarawak.<\/p>\n

The political party headed by Tun Dr. Mahathir, namely Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (BERSATU) plans to come to Sarawak. It reflects the political encroachment and a planned eroding of the rights of Sarawak by the Malaya-based political parties\u00a0 after the GE14.<\/p>\n

The majority of the leaders of BERSATU are former UMNO leaders. It is a racial political party caring for the interests of a single race with full\u00a0 UMNO racialism and colour. The coming of BERSATU shall deter the racial harmony long enjoyed by the\u00a0 people in Sarawak. Sarawakian will never endorse the coming of BERSATU.<\/p>\n

We strongly deplore the stance of the member parties of Pakatan Harapan in Sarawak, including the DAP in welcoming the coming of BERSATU. Such stance is a despicable political movement, equivalent to betraying the rights of Sarawak.<\/p>\n

The Sarawak DAP and others,\u00a0 the Malayan agent, has had teamed up with Malaya based political parties, working against the aspiration and rights of Sarawak, helping the Malaya based political\u00a0 parties to come to Sarawak to encroach the resources and wealth of Sarawak.<\/p>\n

When BN was in power, Sarawak was able to stop the coming of UMNO. But now, the Pakatan Harapan leaders, YB Chong Chieng Jen and YB Baru Bian, can they stop the coming of BERSATU to Sarawak? Can they dare tell Tun Dr. Mahathir that Sarawak does not want BERSATU? If they dare not and cannot stop the coming of BERSATU, it would mean that they are weak, incapable and powerless.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0 December 16, 2015, the then Chief Minister Adenan Satem had challenged the DAP YBs during the DUN winding up speech that they proposed a motion in the DUN that Sarawak shall permanently\u00a0 bar the coming of UMNO, DAP, PKR and other Malaya based political parties to Sarawak. However, the DAP YBs dare not take up the challenge. They had in fact conspired to help the Malaya based political parties to come to Sarawak, reflecting\u00a0 that DAP\u00a0 never\u00a0 had the\u00a0 heart to safeguard the rights of Sarawak.<\/p>\n

Sarawakians\u00a0 must be fully alert\u00a0 against the\u00a0 attempt of the Malaya-based political parties which are trying to encroach the resources of Sarawak as well as conspire to control Sarawak. What would be the\u00a0 results of such attempts and conspiracy?<\/p>\n

The situation in Sabah should be taken as a lesson.<\/p>\n
