The Sarawak legal counsel had proven their case.<\/p>\n<p>Ting who represented SUPP went with the legal team headed by Sarawak\u00a0State Attorney-General\u2019s Chambers comprising State Attorney-General\u00a0(SAG) Datuk Talat Mahmood Abdul Rashid, State Legal Counsel Dato Sri\u00a0JC Fong, deputy SAG Saferi Ali, and legal officer Mohd Adzrul Azlan\u00a0thanked them for doing an excellent job.<\/p>\n<p>He congratulated the Chief Minister for leading the team forward and\u00a0added that this is a happy day for all Sarawakians and he thanked them\u00a0for their prayers and moral support.<\/p>\n<p>Ting said it is no doubt that oil and gas are properties of Sarawak\u00a0and hoped that Petronas will work together with Sarawak for the\u00a0interest of all.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Judge of the High Court of Malaya Tan Sri Wira Ahmad Maarop\u00a0awarded RM50,000 cost to the Sarawak state government.<\/p>\n<p>Senior federal counsel Shamsul Bolhassan held a watching brief on\u00a0behalf of Attorney General\u2019s Chamber (AGC).<\/p>\n<p>Petronas filed an application for leave to commence proceedings under\u00a0Article 4 (4) of the Federal Constitution, seeking a declaration that\u00a0the Petroleum Development Act 1974 (PDA) applied with regard to the\u00a0regulatory control of upstream activities in Sarawak.
