The law on this army\/police votes (namely servicemen votes) is very straight forward:<\/p>\n<p>Whoever is resident in a constituency, he or she can register to vote\u00a0as a voter in the constituency where he or she resides, and that\u00a0include army and police who serves at that constituency.<\/p>\n<p>The MP for the constituency also represents these servicemen.<\/p>\n<p>Today DAP is panicking because they have never been paying attention\u00a0to these servicemen&#8217;s welfare in their constituency. Opposition failed\u00a0to do their homework as the electoral roll is under the jurisdiction\u00a0of SPR. Army\/police votes exist all this while and nothing new. Since\u00a0there are so many DAP MPs in the Parliament, why don\u2019t they bring it\u00a0up in Parliament if they are unhappy or think that\u2019s unfair?
