{"id":20362,"date":"2017-12-16T13:14:03","date_gmt":"2017-12-16T05:14:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=20362"},"modified":"2017-12-17T08:17:43","modified_gmt":"2017-12-17T00:17:43","slug":"cleaning-up-gotong-royong-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=20362","title":{"rendered":"Cleaning up gotong royong project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There was a hive of activities at Kampung Senadin Jaya, Lutong in\u00a0Miri this morning as Piasau State Assemblyman, Dato&#8217;\u00a0Sebastian Ting and a team of Health Ministry officials, turned up to help in the\u00a0gotong royong of the kampung.<\/p>\n<p>Launching the &#8216;gotong royong&#8217;, Ting who joined in the cleaning of the\u00a0kampung, said he was happy to see such a crowd coming in to do their\u00a0part for their own kampung at such an early time despite it being a\u00a0Saturday. He said it was good that there is a sense of comradeship\u00a0among the kampung people to be concerned about each other.<\/p>\n<p>He thanked the Health Ministry team, who also gave a talk on the prevention of diseases and gave advice on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>He also thanked the Temenggong and community leaders for being present to\u00a0be with the people.<\/p>\n<p>Ting then joined the kampung people in the cleaning up.
