{"id":15215,"date":"2017-01-29T21:52:54","date_gmt":"2017-01-29T13:52:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=15215"},"modified":"2017-01-30T00:29:26","modified_gmt":"2017-01-29T16:29:26","slug":"landmarks-to-be-renamed-in-honour-of-the-late-cm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=15215","title":{"rendered":"Landmarks to be renamed in honour of the late CM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chief Minister, Datuk Amar Abang Johari will consider the proposals\u00a0put forward by the people to name existing landmark buildings in\u00a0Sarawak in honour of the late Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Adenan\u00a0Satem.<\/p>\n<p>Abang Jo said he is willing to consider such request made through both the\u00a0printed and on social media.<\/p>\n<p>Many had suggested that Batang Sadong Bridge in Samarahan, Lanang\u00a0Bridge, indoor stadiums in Sibu and Kuching should be considered in\u00a0remembrance of the late CM who had done a lot for Sarawak despite only\u00a0three years in the office.<\/p>\n<p>Abang Johari said he is in favour of such proposals and will discuss\u00a0with the cabinet.<\/p>\n<p>Adenan passed away on January 11 and many took to the internet to\u00a0voice their sorrow and condolences.
