{"id":14817,"date":"2017-01-14T17:48:33","date_gmt":"2017-01-14T09:48:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=14817"},"modified":"2017-01-14T19:39:13","modified_gmt":"2017-01-14T11:39:13","slug":"installation-of-sarawak-sixth-chief-minister","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=14817","title":{"rendered":"Installation of Sarawak sixth Chief Minister"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg, 66, took\u00a0over from Tan Sri Adenan Satem who\u00a0 passed away\u00a0on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) deputy president, took his oath of office as the sixth Chief Minister of Sarawak before Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud at the Astana, the official residence of the Head of State, here\u00a0at 4.10pm on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The event was witnessed by Abang Johari&#8217;s wife Datin Amar Jumaani Tuanku Bujang, members of the state cabinet, state assemblymen and senior civil servants.<\/p>\n<p>Abang\u00a0 Jo\u00a0was one of the three deputy chief ministers under Adenan&#8217;s administration.
