{"id":11895,"date":"2016-08-10T18:00:21","date_gmt":"2016-08-10T10:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=11895"},"modified":"2016-08-10T21:52:06","modified_gmt":"2016-08-10T13:52:06","slug":"checking-out-on-problems-on-issuance-of-new-passport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=11895","title":{"rendered":"Checking out on problems on issuance of new passport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following a number of negative publicity on the issuance of passports, Piasau State Assemblyman, Dato&#8217; Sebastian Ting went to the UTC (Immigration)\u00a0to check on the latest of the passport problem.<\/p>\n<p>Ting said there\u00a0 was a fake message posted that it take at least 6\u00a0months to get a new passport and thus for the last few days, the UTC\u00a0has been crowded with people worried of the long wait.<\/p>\n<p>Urging everyone to stop sharing the fake message, Ting said the\u00a0Immigration head of Miri, Yahya\u00a0 gave the assurance that the situation is very\u00a0much under control.<\/p>\n<p>For those aged 60 and above, the passport is RM60.
