After all oil is Sarawak own natural resource.<\/p>\n<p>He said Sarawakians has been neglected for a long while and it is time that they are given priority. He said Shell Sarawak hired a lot of capable Sarawakians when oil was first discovered in 1910 in Miri. &#8220;Over these years, we have proven we are capable so there is no question of Sarawakian being unable to do the job,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Ting said the Chief Minister has also fight for RM2.1 billion contracts of oil to be given to Sarawak. He said the public is also interested to know how much\u00a0 of the contract has been given out to local companies.
