Twinswood has filed notice of appeal to appeal against the decision of the High Court on 11.3.2016. The High Court last month dismissed Twinswood application which result in giving legal and beneficial ownership of the 3 shop houses at Kg Dato in Sibu to SUPP. These 3 shop houses has been Sibu SUPP office since it was purchased in 1989 under the leadership of Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi Wong Soon Kai.<\/p>\n
Dato Seri Wong Soon Koh, Datuk Tiong Thai King and Daniel Ngieng resigned as directors of Twinswood in February 2015. Dato Seri Wong was also the chairman of Twinswood then.<\/p>\n
With this appeal it looks like the group aligned to Dato Seri Wong in Twinswood is still not willing to accept SUPP as the legal and beneficial owner of the property. SUPP feels that Dato Seri Wong and his group should stop claiming this property as theirs rather SUPP especially since they are no longer with SUPP. This action goes against their pledge to help SUPP in the coming State election.<\/p>\n
SUPP lawyer also noted that the notice of appeal which was faxed to their office show the sender as “George Lo Partner even though he is not the lawyer acting for Twinswood. George Lo is also the Secretary General of United People’s Party (UPP).<\/p>\n
