人联党支持第88A条文纳入修正案
砂拉越人民联合党全力支持重新将第88A（禁止单方面改教）条文纳入法律改革（婚姻及离婚）修正案的决定。 党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师表示，随着联邦法院五司针对改教案件作出标杆性裁决，首相拿督斯里纳吉日前指政府将会探讨重新在2017年法律改革（婚姻与离婚）修正案增加88A条文。 他强调，增加88A条文的决定，是符合事宜，且是必要的。 “联邦法院的判决，反映了法律的实用和敏感性。” 他说，再加上联邦法院五司一致决定，显示出我国法官的一致想法，而人联党对此表示欢迎，并强调这裁决与人联党向来的立场吻合。 联邦法院于本周一针对长达9年的改教争子案，做出标杆性裁决，宣判父母单方面为子女改信伊斯兰教无效。 印裔妇女英迪拉甘地的前夫在2009年办理离婚手续时，丈夫擅自取走3名子女的报生纸，并从伊斯兰法庭取得庭令，把孩子改信伊斯兰教和取得他们的抚养权。
罗克强呼吁撞后逃案件目击者挺身而出
巴都吉当区州议员罗克强呼吁民众挺身协助一宗撞后逃案件的受害者，该受害者为1名4个孩子的母亲雅蒂。 雅蒂是在上个月30日早上7时30分左右，于石角味源港路遭遇车祸。任何目击者，可以联络罗克强。意外发生后，受害者脚部受伤，无法照顾孩子。 他日前前往医院探望雅蒂，并对其遭遇感到难过。 他说，社会上撞后逃的案件层出不穷，不负责任者在意外发生后逃之夭夭，想躲开法律责任。其实，正确的做法应该是第一时间通知救护车，此举甚至可以挽回受害者的性命。
Amendment to Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) Act
The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) supports the proposed reintroduction of Clause 88A to amend the Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) (Amendment) Act (LRA). Support for a hit and run victim
A mother of four and the parent of a stateless child is a victim of hit and run. Her condition was noticed by State Assemblyman, Lo Khere Chiang who paid her a visit to give her moral support and encouragement.
